The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) “aims to give a deeper insight into science and its applications for the benefit of all mankind: and to develop a greater understanding between young people of all nations”.
Run each year, the program selects students from each Rotary District to attend regional NYSF sessions in major capital cities. A lucky few will then be selected to attend international forums around the world.
Students are selected based not just on their academic achievements, but also on their other interests and their social and communication skills. In the NYSF forums, and throughout their NYSF experience, these young scientists will acquire additional skills that will allow them to take their place as tomorrow’s leaders.
Coffs City Rotary is proud to support the National Youth Science Forum by identifying and supporting talented young science students and aiding them in pursuing their goals.
